TESTIMONY
To cross the ocean :
a leaps and bounds in my development
Claire, Director,
HEC
After five years, I took myself to dream of a great departure and expatriation to meet new challenges.
Five exciting years, developing my talents
I joined Kea&Partners at the end of my studies at HEC. I knew that I wanted to discover this profession and evolve in it.
From the first days, I loved it the quality and type of relationships we create with our customers during our assignments. During these five years, I had the chance to discover fifteen clients in depth, in sectors as varied as financial services, distribution, aeronautics, the social sector, luxury...
I also worked on many issues, from the creation of a new product offer to the definition of a competitiveness plan, through the improvement of commercial performance, the development of the leadership of a group of people, the improvement of customer satisfaction, process definition, and many other key questions for companies. Each time, thanks to a constant balance between strategic thinking and pragmatism, we have succeeded in building with our customers a solution adapted to their situation and their culture, which has translated into concrete results. I didn't even have time to be bored !
I also had the chance to participate in exciting internal projects : I was part of the team in charge of developing concepts and tools around Transformation, I led several training sessions for consultants, and above all I was able to give my idea of what Kea would be like in 10 years, to help build our new strategy. All this reinforces today my feeling of participating in a great adventure : Kea&Partners.
Go even further
After five years at Kea&Partners, I took myself to dream of a great departure and expatriation to meet new challenges. However, I still didn't want to leave aside the excitement of the consulting profession, nor the way of working at Kea&Partners. When I heard about the opening of our subsidiary in Brazil, I jumped at the chance and asked to participate in this project.
I just had time to hand over my projects in France, to organize my move, and I was already in Brazil, without really realizing what had happened... The subsidiary had since been created only a few weeks when I arrived, I joined a team that was still very young, but already with lots of projects and clients, lots of energy and dreams !
It was an exciting challenge for me. In addition to having to learn to speak Portuguese, and to discover a new culture, I participated to an entrepreneurial project that allowed me to get to grips with new aspects of the consulting profession. We didn't have a minute respite : projects to carry out, young consultants to develop, business proposals to write, and quite simply, a business to build !
Back at Kea in France, I come out stronger of this experience and continues to be involved in the development of the firm through new projects!
