Be empowered quickly
Whether for an internship or a permanent contract, the selection at Kea is demanding. The firm wants to be able to quickly assign the consultant important tasks and expose it to the client – which explains why posture, empathy and oral expression are important selection criteria in interviews.
When I arrived at Kea, this philosophy was quickly confirmed ! I was very quickly led to present my work to the client, to conduct interviews alone as well as to participate in building and animation of client seminars. Of course, this rise in power in accountability is accompanied according to the appetites and abilities of each. But, the little more At Kea it is this dose of trust that we are granted and which comes to increase tenfold our capacities as young consultants !
Have a clear margin of autonomy
At Kea, the emphasis is also on autonomy. We quickly let the consultant manage his perimeter. Of course it goes together with taking initiative ! Being trained as an engineer, I particularly appreciated, and still appreciate today, the autonomy I enjoy on my analyzes or on the posing of problems.
Beyond the phases of reflection, this autonomy is also reflected in the phases of interface with the customer. The young consultant is quickly encouraged to propose a presentation structure and wording as well as to present himself the part on which he worked. In the field, this translates into a progressive management of these works and their management with the client. Over the course of his experience, the consultant builds a real relationship with its customers and benefits from the trust of its team. The consultant is not asked to fit into a "mold », he is supervised and can carry out his work while keeping his own identity and style.
Although empowered and autonomous, we are never alone and our management is always present to help us, support us and above all help us progress. For me, the Kea style is expressed in the fact of not consider the young consultant as a simple performer but like a strength of proposal to part whose ideas are listened to and taken into account. This is where our role as young Kea consultants is so different!
As you will have understood, these two notions, which allow rapid and accompanied progression, are the main reasons why I fully blossom at Kea. Of course, its absolutely brilliant atmosphere also contributes to this, but to tell you about it I would need a few more lines. ! ^^

In 2016, when I was looking for an internship for my gap year, I was sure I wanted to go into consulting. The main question was : in which office ?
After a few exchanges with consultants and ex-consultants from several firms, Kea quickly drew my attention to a very specific aspect : the empowerment and autonomy of the junior consultant. Subsequently, these two principles became reality in my daily life as an intern at Kea. This is also one of the main reasons which, a year after my caesura, made me come back on a permanent contract to continue the adventure!
