Responsible transformation
The 9 fields of action of responsibility, base of the 21st century company
Together, let's build a desirable economy
Since Kea & Partners was founded in 2001, we have undertaken transformations in the service of capitalism with a human face, placing people at the heart of value creation. We have always been on the path of responsibility. In March 2020, the Pacte law allowed us to go a step further: we adopted the quality of Mission-Driven Company, by including strong commitments in our statutes and by affirming our raison d'être: "Undertaking transformations to a desirable economy".
Echoing our commitments, we have developed a guidance tool on the 9 fields of responsible transformation to shed light on the possible paths of responsibility.
2020 is a decisive year for the transformation of our societies into responsibility. It made us change our outlook on the economy: we now have to think about its sustainability, there is no longer any alternative, we have to get on the road.
This is the whole purpose of our tool around the 9 fields of responsible transformation to open a new path for managers to invent the economic models of the 21st century. The result of our research and innovation work, it is a compass that allows them to choose their battles and to realize the responsibility and purpose of their company.
Thus, through the projects that we carry out and the exchanges that we have with our clients, we challenge them on the responsibility of the initiatives undertaken: is the overhaul of their business models aligned with responsible objectives? Does it operate responsibly?

A strategic exercise, the reflection around the 9 fields of action of responsibility takes into account components as sensitive as the performance indicators or the economic model. It is also systemic because all the key components of the company are concerned: governance, operations, management.
All the dimensions of our tool are linked and complementary, but each manager chooses the pace of the transformation to be carried out, according to the degree of maturity of the company and the targeted ambition. By ensuring that each of the dimensions worked on has a positive economic, ecological and social impact.
9 fields of action to transform your business "in and towards" the responsibility
It is not a question of imposing these 9 fields as targets to be reached but of using them as a staff map to progress according to the strategic priorities of the company, with authenticity:
Chart your own path of contributing to a desirable economy
Our approach to responsibility attaches as much importance to the goals pursued as to the means implemented to achieve them.
Why and for what do you want to get involved?
It's about choosing your fights. This choice is the result of the personal work of the leaders and of a gradual progression of all the stakeholders around the positions to be taken.
What do you really want to change?
Choose the leads through which you will lead the transformation of the whole company. These are the ones that are most compatible with the culture / business model of the company and the strongest training capacity on the organization.
At Kea, we are convinced that 9 areas of responsibility can be investigated.
How do you intend to proceed?
Not all ends justify all means. In terms of responsibility, the goals pursued sometimes come into conflict with the means (should a polluting activity be stopped or the jobs associated with it preserved?). The questions asked are very often without a good definitive answer. The responsibility therefore lies not only in the objectives pursued but also in the path taken to achieve them. The goal and the path feed each other.
